What to expect at your appointment

Your SkinSure visit, step by step:

1. Booking: Book online or via phone

2. On arrival: You will be asked a brief history about your skin, sun exposure, family history, and any changes you have noticed.

3. The examination: Your clinician will perform a full body skin check. You will be asked to undress to your underwear. Gowns are provided. All areas of skin are examined — including the scalp, nails, soles of the feet, and between the toes. Please do not wear makeup to the appointment

4. OptimaScan assessment: Where indicated, OptimaScan technology is used to examine lesions in greater detail and document findings.

5. Follow up discussion: You will be provided with documentation of your check mentioning lesions of concern and recommended next steps.
If treatment is required you can then either book an appointment with Skinsure, follow up with your own GP or be referred to specialist dermatologist or plastic surgeon. 

6. Follow-up plan: Your plan will be sent to you within 7 days of your appointment.
